A Message of Hope for the New Year

My dear compatriots I know that for most of you the year that is coming to an end will have been one of distress, tragedy and grief. Despite the situation that officials at the highest level of State are familiar with, allow me to send you a message of Hope and Hope for the coming year. As an ordinary citizen and as a politician, I say that the time has come to put an end to the quarrels and to sit around the same table in order to put the Somalia we love on the path of Peace and Renewal. Let us organize free and democratic elections as quickly as possible according to a popular ballot through which all citizens will be able to vote and in which every vote will count. I am convinced that this is the only solution for political power to have real legitimacy and for our country to regain real international credibility. Finally, allow me to have a thought for all of you and in particular for the 800,000 of you who have freely joined the movement that I have the honor to lead. Happy New Year 2022, may the Most High bless each and every one of us and bring Peace to our beloved Somalia.
