The deteriorating security situation

I understand the gravity of the situation in Somalia under the tenure of Hassan Sheikh and his administration.

The deteriorating security situation, not only during their time from May 2022 to May 2024 but also in the years preceding, dating back to the civil war, is a direct result of poor leadership and mismanagement.

I have consistently expressed my concerns and taken a strong stance on this issue since 2019. Unfortunately, it is evident that no successful measures have been implemented to effectively address and reverse this pressing issue for the people of Somalia.

To pave the way for a brighter future, our country urgently needs stronger and resilient leaders who can tackle these challenges head-on.

It is disheartening to read an article like this, as it highlights the harsh realities on the ground.
