First victory for Abshir Aden Ferro (AAF), February presidential candidate in Somalia. This first victory is “legal and gives him good hope for this next high-risk election”. Mr. Ferro, who had seized the Commercial Court of Paris about suspicions of corruption that he denounced, won his case with this court, which condemned by judgment of January 21, 2021, the companies Losberger and Rapid to indemnify the Somali company Abshir Advisors, defended by Me Xavier Argenton and Me Elodie Smila, lawyers at the Paris Bar.

And his party, the Alliance for the Future, did not stop responding to the court ruling. The political formation of AAF indicates in a press release that "the Paris Commercial Court gives credence to the suspicions of corruption issued in 2016 by Abshir Aden Ferro in the calls for tenders for construction contracts linked to security in Somalia" through "His decision to condemn the Losberger company in the case of the European Union market for the construction of a secure complex in Mogadishu".

"Abshir Aden Ferro intends to continue his fight against corruption in Somalia and in Europe and will ask the companies involved for significant damages, which he undertakes to pay back to families who are victims of violence and attacks in Somalia", know his supporters, maintaining that the advice of their leader considers through a press release that "the judgment rendered is a first victory for their client".

"The Alliance for the Future has no doubt that French justice will also denounce racial discrimination contrary to human rights against Somali nationals envisaged by the European Union in the clauses of this call for tenders", declares Fero's party.

Somali businessman Abshir Aden Fero has the ambition to "put his country back on its feet, weakened by many years of civil war". Having to do battle with the outgoing President in the next presidential election, AAF intends, if elected, among other things, to "restore the rule of law, establish universal suffrage, curb corruption, fight against extremists, restore security and to ensure that Somalia regains the confidence of the international community and investors ”.
